I turned this bowl from a block of Myrtlewood a couple of weeks ago and put a seal coat of varnish on it. Today I added another coat wiped on with a cloth pad. If I have the patience, it could use about three more coats, then I’ll buff it with Tripoli polishing compound, apply a thin coat of carnauba wax, and it will look and feel delightful.
